We were recognized for conducting postgraduate teaching and training under Calcutta University from 1966 students admitted in UCM and they reported to the VIMS for teaching and training.
VIMS, a Postgraduate teaching & research wing of Ramakrishna Mission SevaPratishthan Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences recognized by Medical Council of India affiliated under West Bengal University of Health Sciences with effect from 2004 onwards for conducting MD/MS AND DIPLOMA TEACHING & RESEARCH.
Our DNB courses (General Surgery, Radiology, Anaethesiology and Urology) had been recognized in the year 2004-2005.
